I used to live in a red light district in as a student, and can confirm that disgusting curb-crawling pervert men are harrassing women and girls who are clearly just local residents. I couldn't take my dog out for a pee without being accosted. They all knew I wasn't a prostitute.
Came here to say the same. Was living in the red light district in Berlin and would routinely be harassed even when I was in baggy jeans and t-shirt, or carrying a backpack going to uni.
I lived in the red light district as a child. I would get asked if I was a working when I was in my school uniform and forget wearing your P.E kit home.
It happened to me when I was a vacation. I went out wearing a sundress and was standing outside my hotel looking through my itinerary when a man grabbed me and told me to follow him. I protested and pushed him away and he came back and showed me money and said " for the night" 🤮
You’re missing the point of what I’m saying. Normalising sex work will only embolden men to sexually harass women even more. And since when has something being illegal stopped men? Rape and sexual harassment are already illegal yet men do it on the regular.
