Speaking of Greg Doucette, the twitter powers that be have apparently spoken, and he's locked out of his account until next Monday, aside from his DMs.
okay, I study a lot of true crime and criminal psychology and I can say beyond a doubt that people who flout this sort of "reasoning" for a killing would find themselves with a murder conviction and prison sentence
if they were lucky, they might get a manslaughter deal but most of the time, this kind of reasoning doesn't even land a "not guilty by reason of instanity"
There are tons of murder cases where the perpetrator genuinely, truly believed their killing was justified and wound up in the slammer for the rest of their lives
but people like this seem to forget that there are other people out there who also need their rights protected, and the 'right' to be a dick and do whatever you want has never been protected
I'm thinking it's more the former than the latter, especially with a lot of his fans just being young people that grew up with his acting and joined the fandom surrounding him.
the IstandwithVic folks are having a complete meltdown on Twitter and YouTube lately. It's been hilarious, especially since they're now attacking Nick Riketa
Yeah I said it one of the prior times but the willful ignorance about Vic is the same as many people who couldn't accept the Bill Cosby did what he did.
I fully believe that for some of them literally nothing will cause them to disbelieve, including Vic saying "actually I did all this stuff and I am a bad man"
lol people are transparent as fuck some chud I reported tried to disguise "I will murder women who [I perceived to have] wronged me" and added "in minecraft" like that would save him
He's not banned exactly, but he has been locked (again), due to reports. He's pretty confident that he'll get his main account back next Monday, though.
Also if you haven't done it already, now's a good time to send in a complaint to the Texas State Bar re: Percy's notary fraud. Including a mention of that little video of his threatening to shoot anyone who interferes with his "ability to provide for my family" is worth it too, since that's pretty much referring exclusively to anyone reporting him for fraud
And if any of them do find the courage to try, it'll be laughed out of consideration, because "DIDN'T RULE THE WAY I WANTED!!!!1!" isn't something worthy of a disciplinary hearing
But you know what's the worst part in all this? Is how everyone else within Vic's orbit was so complicit. I'm sure someone knew about him conditioning fans into fuckbuddies.
Gods I hope anyone who was every with him gets tested and I pray to whatever gods I can that no one ended up pregnant because of this asshole being so irresponsible.
God, this poor woman... I've been with an abusive ex who loved to aggressively gaslight me when I caught them in lies, so I can only imagine her pain with Vic doing this constantly when she called him out...
Annnd Vic's on TV. (I don't know if the news site, which looks to be a local NBC affiliate in Texas, autoplays videos or not, so I'm linking a tweet that links to the story just in case. The direct link is here.)
the more I learn about Vic, the more he reminds me of a piece of shit ex I once had. that ex turned out to be a diagnosed sociopath and wound up in prison
I said it before, unsure if in this particular Vic plurk, but I'll say it again; it would be poetic justice if this lawsuit and the depositions associated with it opened FBI investigations on Vic. Because he admitted to a lot of this shit on those depositions.
thorough investigation would likely lead to criminal charge, but we can at the very least take comfort in the fact that no entertainment company in their right mind would hire him again after this mess
a combination of the streisand effect, his own big mouth, and his shitty lawyers could potentially do him in, at the very least ruining his chances of being hired by a lot of people
(honestly despite the screaming of delusional vicstans the chances are astronomically high that Vic's gonna lose on all claims too, either in the judge dismissing here or it getting dismissed in a courtroom proper. and he'll have to pay harsh sanctions for pulling this shit on top of all legal fees.
what would be ideal if he doesn't pull this shit ever again regarding creeping on underaged girls or women in general. a good second place would be if he did but was caught before said girls or women could be seriously hurt.
I mean, there's a slim possibility all this will kick him hard enough in the teeth to see therapy given his age. ideally, that would be best for everyone
and saying that's the exact same thing as Greg saying "definitely don't retweet this" to fizzle out their manufactured scandal about the 10+ year old Funi leaks
Which is totally normal and healthy and not at all a sign of being completely unhinged and having been brainwashed by a cult of personality into basically being a foot soldier for a piece of shit
Reactionary "alternative facts" conservatives, which have a lot of overlap with the Vicstan base, do not grant the idea that people are inherently human and thus deserve basic human rights
But tell them "it's 98% likely that all these women are telling the truth about a voice actor being a piece of shit" and suddenly 98% isn't enough to prove anything
Most of them are insisting that the women are liars, but imagining that some of them are just saying that to discredit them not because they actually think they're lying, but because they don't think Vic should be punished even if it's true...that's the kind of thought you need a stiff whiskey to have, and I don't even drink
(Granted, the MRAs are probably in that camp, and I shouldn't be surprised by the thought of them behaving like that, but there's always a little bit of faith in humanity left to lose I guess)
correct
probably not even though, again. Y I K E S
Hoping the judge sees this and is protected from these unhinged incels
Vic's Fanbase: "Time for a bloody revolution I guess."
