Someone else could be standing on that stage — maybe even holding that Best Director trophy, which, to date, only one woman has ever done.

另一方面我覺得人本身的性格跟思考或多或少會體現在他想呈現的藝術中，要真正完全分離並不是太容易的事。

我原本其實對「海邊的曼徹斯特」十分有興趣，但在年初得知這件事之後覺得十分複雜。
呼應前面他說的，藝術雖重要但是人性的價值更高。
但看過報導的人就知道實際並非如此。比起獎項或出色的演技，曾作過這種惡事的人得到肯定，是對人性的不尊重。
至於奧斯卡, MEL GIBSON也還能提名, LA LA LAND大贏已經被質疑, 而且還是多年來一直被批評種族歧視的頒獎禮, 今次有黑人有獎, 我已經很意外了。
我還是維持上面提到的想法，有人才有藝術，整個獎季直到奧斯卡，給此人的肯定都顯示出這個產業對女性的漠視與不尊重，群眾如果默認並接受了這樣的價值觀，是很糟的。
