Mr. Metro resolved the downstairs toilet issue!! Replacing the wax ring wasn't enough, we also had to replace the bolts.

Going back to sharing 1 bathroom was rough, having more than one bathroom was one of my big make-or-breaks when we bought a place.

Update: the tank part is now leaking

Even 1.5 is a deal breaker. We have 2.5 and it’s just enough. Guests have a guest toilet so they don’t use ours.

We have 2 also, and I wish we had 2.5

I mean it's a real first world problem, you know? The idea of even having indoor plumbing is historically new. Let alone 1 toilet per resident.

The stupid toilet is crooked. I'm going to have to live with it. I don't want to redo the stupid wax ring AGAIN.

We have to replace the tank bolts and gasket LOL. Kill me. At least it's not the upstairs (IMO much nicer) toilet.
