If you're using Caspervend at the Shop and Hop for your gift, double check that it's not charging L$1. I had everything set up correctly but SL was treating clicks like the pay option and charging L$1 (even though object was set to touch). I'm guessing lag f'ed up the object settings?

Cranberry sauce is very very easy to make from scratch and won’t have the tinned metallic taste. Put cranberries in a saucepan with sugar and some water. Boil until the berries pop and are thickened. Adjust sweetness as needed. Add grated orange zest and a shot of Grand Mariner if you’re feeling fancy. No measurements because I just eyeball it.
