Almost there. How's everyone holding up?

We're only five days in, why am I already staying up this late grading papers?

Nothing more therapeutic than a good RP session where you get to do good and be chaotic at the same time.

fireduck I should thank you for the recommendation of Apothacary Diaries, it's been a pretty good show so far.

I'm thinking I'm going to have to cut one night out of running games with school back in. Four nights a week is rough.

That was exhausting, but I'm home.

Open house, here we go. Year 17 kicking off.

Well it happened, the inevitable last minute shifting of schedules and changing everything the night before open house. Luckily I have everything I need, but had to rebuild the modules in canvas for the new classes.

Day 1 of preplanning down, everyone had to leave right at time to clockout though so local PD can do training apparently.

Had a good last day of summer break, but not really forward to having to sit through training for the next few days.

One day left prior to preplanning.

Condenser pump went out first thing this morning, so we had no air all day in the main area.

Got the last person out the door. Have to take out the trash and then restock to do it all again tomorrow.

Last weekend before pre-planning and I'm not even going to sit down. Five new releases this weekend, four different tournaments, and we're already packed after just opening.

It's really annoying that we've been ordering so much for so long and yet for the last year distribution has been absolutely horrible for just about every game we carry.

The hardest part about getting ready to go back to the classroom. Readjusting my sleep schedule, and knowing that I'm not going to have time to make breakfast each day. Back to pre-prepped eggy muffins.

Today was way too busy. But it was probably one of our bests due to all the new releases between Pokemon and Gundam.

So since I've gotten back, I've been working on reorganizing and catalouging out TCG singles between Magic and One Piece. Today alone I've gone through and done 20k cards which inventory for more than I paid for my house. There's still way too many for me to get done before pre-planning starts in two week though.

So how's everyone doing? Managing to stay cool in the summer heat? Weathering the storms?

Hey guys. So I guess I need to get some fresh muses. So what are the kids into these days? What are some shows or characters you think I'd like?

Gundam launch went well, got to catch up with a few my D&D group as well and we're going to resume our Friday night game next week. Which gives us about three sessions before we lose two of our group. But should be enough to wrap up the current campaign.

It is entirely too hot.

I did not expect the event to be a prediction of the actual month. It's stormed just about every night for the last two weeks. It's especially loud tonight.

Last medical appointment today for the forseeable future. Offically half the man I was a year ago, numbers look pretty good with the exception of my CBC. So looks like I'm still going to be around a while.

That's kind of strange, a random journal has for some reason subscribed to Kio's journal.

3/4 prereleases done for Final Fantasy, don't really expect quite as many people tomorrow. But I'll be glad when it's over and there's a bit of a break before the next wave of release events.

There are a lot of people sharing for Pride, so I just want to remind anyone that might need someone to talk to, I'm always willing to listen and will always accept people for who they are and believe truly that love is love. And that everyone should be free to love whoever they want.
