religious fanaticism.

even my devout, lay minister mom sa uni chapel namin dito says this is fanaticism (a line she doesn't cross).

i think it's senseless, blind rel fanaticism. gets ko yung panata (even joined my classmates and friends to some of these as a nursing student way back) but not to this extent.

ginagawa namin dati is yung mga regular lang na panata to some known shrines dito like crossing some riverbends para maka punta sa isang secluded chapel/shrine , sort of like a pilgrimage and prayer...I go to church lang din dito, sa perpetual help corners ng church, and nag-la-light ng candles but nothing as crazy as this. 😑
