Go me! I managed to get moving without too much fussing, so I now have ratatouille in the oven, and bell peppers in the freezer. The bag with the still good ones, I'll give back to mom (she paid for two bags, I paid for one; but I cleaned up two bags, so I paid her back one).

I'll probably need to take a quick shower, just to wash out the sweat, and tomorrow, I leave early with mom to go see an aunt who moved a couple of months ago. She loves having people, but it's mostly so they can do each other's hair, so I'll bring my crochet and talk with they do their stuff.

Oof! I had bought some hot peppers (Jalapeño, ghost, and scotch bonnet). I decided to try the ghost ones—only one, a small one—in my ratatouille. I think I'll drink milk with that...

And I just made myself some eggplant "chips" with the skins peeled off for the ratatouille.

That all sounds delicious!

Ghost peppers rock, but must be used sparingly. I have a couple I keep in a glass container in the fridge. I chop off itty, bitty pieces and mince them to add to soups, stews and casseroles
