Hey I know we all hate the Walmart empire but some of us are poor, so as a heads up, their Marketside soups are all under three dollars in my area and are very nice overall?
The potato soup tastes like homemade soup. Literally. Not my recipe, but someone's! It just tastes like a homemade soup. The clam chowder is the best I've ever had, but I'm fucking land locked, and our seafood places here are legit shit.
I was really wary, but also. I'm sick so often and my mobility is slowly degrading so sometimes I need a good meal that doesn't need to be actually cooked by me.
So if I'm going to be useless randomly, I'd rather have good backups than to rely on more snackish things? I hate the term junk food, but idk what else to call it.
<3 if anyone's gonna judge you for canned soup i'm gonna slap them, lol. we don't all always have the energy to crank out a stew every day. canned soup is fine.
It might be the packaging, but it just tastes fresher. The veggies in the ones I've tried have been nicer than canned. Unless there's luxury canned soups and then I'm missing out
I used to go to Walmart automotive to get my oil changes but they somehow got more expensive than the local auto shop which is really weird. I think maybe it was just convenience of people doing that while shopping
true. I've only been to Sam's club once but that seemed pretty decent. so maybe that's where all the quality stuff went. locked behind the membership fee.
there was a year that on Black Friday they opened it up to not needing a membership for that day only. got myself a cheap Xbox 360 and a new TV. cuz I didn't have a Costco membership at the time. they should both do that again. they'd make bank.
The potato is so good. It doesn't look nice when it's heating up, but once it's mixed it tastes homemade. I didn't add anything but pepper to it and liked it a lot.
