does anyone know how to take care of pleated skirts

is this salvageable

with the caveat that I might just be misreading the extent of the problem, if you clip the pleats in place you should be able to hit it with an iron and get some of that out

I have pretty much not been able to wear it since I went to Florida like nine years ago and it first sat folded in a suitcase until it got unwanted extra folds that I had no means of addressing and I have continued to basically live out of a suitcase and it has just gotten worse since

I think. I don't wear pleated skirts a ton

however I love this thing enough that I am still like MAYBE I CAN SAVE IT

Steam/wash and hang to dry until the wrinkles are gone and it should retain a lot of its shape.

depending on what it's made of, the fix will be different. bring it with you, we will fix it

the likelihood that it's ruined forever is very close to zero

it is dry clean only, the tag that listed the fabric makeup is cutoff because sometimes when you thrift things the previous owner was a monster
