My birthday present from Joy this year was to go buy a used turntable from the Turntables and Trails store. Yes, they sell audio AND hiking equipment!

I bought the weirdest unit there. I love it.

it doesn't have an arm. The needle is in the lid, and it moves horizontally, so the angle doesn't change like in a normal system.

It probably doesn't make that much difference but it's pretty odd.
