I think my garden wants to tell me it is spring

it's time! i'm planting some lavender this week, possibly squash. my lettuce is doing poorly because it is getting warmer sadly.

hibiscus is unhappy because it was repotted, but hopefully it gets happy again soon. we are looking into our city's tree program - select trees at $5 each. just to see what we can get

I love hyacinths in the house so I buy a few bulbs for the window sill. And when they are bloomed out I bury them in the garden. They typically bloom each year. getting smaller blooms and dying off after a few years.
