I think it wasn't used for tin until tin began to be refined, since electrum before that was a naturally occurring gold and silver ore? but then they learned how to refine gold and silver earlier than tin or iron iirc
In that case, despite hyperpotamous being a perfectly good word that both catches the ear and does what it says on the tin, let's deviate
because it ishere is how they got to anbaric and anbaricity in hdm at least
