I got this in a spam mail from my website. "Whenever I look for a business online, the first thing I do is check their rating and number of positive feedback. This is why I'm reaching out to you now – to help you boost the number of genuine 5-star ratings you have, that can ultimately lead to more calls from your existing ads or listings".
There was a link.

Is the spammer saying if I subscribe (somehow) to his product he will make up some genuine 5 star ratings.
(thinking) Can anyone remind me what the word "Genuine" means?

Genuine: "Fake, but we'll make it so it won't be obvious." ;-)

It's like 'Genuine Leather.'

That wal-mart belts that disintegrate after three month are made out of.
