speaking as a newbie, i really enjoyed the tone forbidden scrollery set up and how incredibly alive gensokyo felt

forbidden scrollery to me came off as a supernatural mystery series in a setting where everything is supernatural, and that really appealed to me

wild and horned hermit is also great but definitely feels lighter in tone. i always find myself describing it as daily lives of touhou girls.
