Okay this is a bit of a long shot but does anyone have any good brand recommendations for an exercise bike and/or elliptical machine? I know the big brand like Nautilus, Schwinn, NordicTrack et al. but I also know that I'd be paying an upcharge just for the brand name on the casing.

I emphatically do not require a fancy LCD display monitor or anything.

Exerpeutic has done me well, especially for my cheap fold-up exercise bike

it's not super fancy but it's ideal for a short person with not a lot of space to work or store things

it doesn't come with all the bells and whistles which i wasn't looking for either

just something to move the legs

Like I know that if I go for something lower-cost I'll be getting a product that's, well, lower-cost, but so long as there's still a rift between that and 'nonfunctioning garbage'
