It has some trappings of modern Japanese litrpg tropes like levels and classes and such, but is honestly more a vehicle for geeking out about various developments in medieval history.

Like, the levels and classes are just loose trappings for that.

Also the main character is a postal worker.

Her status as basically a pagan elf makes problems for her too.

OH MY GOD YOU READ THAT MANGA.

I absolutely loved it. I'm a massive history buff, and that manga was a fecking riot to read. To this day I have the silly hope that it gets made into an anime someday, but it is honestly one of my favorite mangas ever.

A bit sad it had a short run, but I am SO happy it was made. (Referring to A Private Story on Third Street).

Potchecatl being portrayed as a shameless vendor made my day when I read it. I didn't expect the author to portray stuff from my culture, so I was honestly ecstatic to see her in.

I also like how the author included in their notes the instances when they were being deliberately historically inaccurate.
