Another night, another wine.

I’m at the steakhouse tonight. I didn’t realize this but it’s the same place as the “hamburger” restaurant that’s open in the afternoon. I ordered the corn soup, pork loin, and rocky toffee cheesecake for dessert.

I must admit so far the dining options have been slightly disappointing. Quality wise and offering wise. There seem to be better options in town. Maybe tomorrow’s dinner is better.

Also as far as atmosphere is concerned too. Maybe I’m just too critical. Service has been really lovely though. I give them points for that!!

Pork loin dinner.

The soup was quite salty so a little off putting but the pork loin has a delicious grilled flavor with chimicuri sauce.

I’m still trying to get a reservation at the Japanese restaurant. They have the most enticing menu so far.

Let it be known that I do not like walnuts in desserts or in general either. I find them too bitter.

You should have started with dessert.

I was thinking that you would enjoy the soup and dessert but of course not the main dish.

Still looks yummy! And yeah, restaurants in town might be better. Something to look forward to!
