She hasn't done this since the first year she laid an egg .... but at least we knew what to do from last time and didn't have to drive for an hour and wait at the ER vet and get charged an arm and a leg
I am so glad she's doing okay now, and this may sound stupid but seriously, it is great that she has you two to take such good care. You hear a lot about people getting birds but not being prepared to give them the tending they need. You guys are great, though. That sounds like it took so much patience and fortitude
Yeah, I'm still really disturbed looking at the wound, I know it's just dried blood but I just freeze up .... and I hate that, I wish my reaction was to act about it, that I could just clean her up without freezing
