No wound clinic this week, but after changing the dressing yesterday, it looks like it is slightly less wide. There was no damage to the skin outside the wound from the exudate thanks to zinc barrier cream. Good news is that there is a lot more granularity (the beginnings of skin) all over the wound bed. The bad thing was doing the debridement myself is hard

I know you need that to heal to take care of other stuff, sending lots of good vibes that it speeds up!

Also, no lidocaine for the debridement. I used a soft brush and soap because my hands are not steady enough to use a curette.
