Eve Polastri actor Sandra Oh specifically cites two of her favorite scenes as the slow dance she and Jodie Comer (as Villanelle) share in the Killing Eve season 3 ending, and the bus fight.
Comer unveils that one of her favorite scenes is from the season 1 finale where Eve stabs Villanelle, that scene becoming a milestone for Villanelle and Eve’s twisted relationship. The common denominator these scenes have is that each of them serves to draw these two women closer.
The reason Killing Eve season 4 spiraled downward in quality is because it doesn’t focus on progressing their existing relationship. Eve and Villanelle's season 3 resolution is more than dismissed, and seemingly retconned, during all of their season 4 interactions.
The consummation of their attraction and love towards each other in the series finale feels unearned because of the regression of their dynamic and how Killing Eve season 4 refuses to emulate the favorite scenes of both Comer and Oh.
If season 4 had spent more time naturally developing their dynamic from where they left off in season 3, then Killing Eve could've have gone down in history with an ending it truly deserves.

我也覺得V會唸一輩子，但她沒有一輩子了
1.兩位女主角喜歡的戲都沒在第四季被納入同樣的劇情。
2.前三季的成功在於VE(JS)的化學反應，但第四季卻不延續，直到最後一集。
3.花費多餘時間在卡姨及康叔的過去，還有讓海蓮去分享應該是屬於V的EVE。
