I mean, mine probably got imported, because I know they're Calico Critters now anywhere I can get them, but that might have been a name change with new releases

honestly, that's one of the reasons i'm so into it. i couldn't have a lot of these dolls as a kid and there is just... something so nice about getting toys for yourself as an adult. there's something so calming about them idk what it is lol.
Yeah! It's nice, I have kids in house but they have their own toys, and I keep these for myself. And that's just fine. Sometimes it's okay to have things that you just keep and keep nice and don't share.
So his office desk was just covered in stuff. I took pictures of it before we left last week, because I don't know how much of it my cousins will want to claim by the time I'm there again
Calico Critters in US at least because "sylvan" is not a common American word, much less "sylvanian," and would have only evoked "Transylvanian" here. not sure what other countries had the CC name. i know they were Sylvanian Families in Japan
i was lucky to have a bunch of the original style Littlest Pet Shop as a kid but you betcher butt as soon as i have space again im pulling out my collection and collecting more
