So we got the velvet presentation box for my son's Eagle Scout award. It also comes with pins to present to the Dad, Mom, and a special mentor...

... except that my son's box had 2 Dad pins in it. I never realized that the Scouts had gotten so progressive!

(Although I hope a little kid with two dads isn't feeling super bad right now...)

Starfirez: It would be smarter, but they don't. Both pins say "Eagle Scout Dad" on them. I don't know when they started including those pins. My husband received his badge in 1986 and there were parent pins then. (He has the one he gave his dad.)
