Context: 2 residents reached out about help registering for a conference in April (it's in their contract we make them sign that they attend unless otherwise voted by DH)
So I emailed DH + the Resident Directors (PGY1 main director and the director of the PGY2 directors) with hey, got an email, lead to questions, please let me know

basically, the email is, I'm not moving forward because I have questions, but also early bird ends in 40 days, so please like, let me know soon

(the conference in question is about a 5 hour car ride/party bus ride away at another university - and they ARE trying to hold it in person if possible. Which brings up a lot of logistic questions because pre-pandemic, residents shared a room (2 to a room but still) and they rented like 2 large party buses from our University that directors drove everyone

but during current climate, can we really expect residents to share a room? OR even ride down to the conference in one huge bus?

the DH's email back to me went like:
Email 1 - DO NOT REGISTER THEM UNTIL WE CAN DISCUSS
Email 2 - please find a time for all on this email chain to discuss this

like no shit I'm not going to register them without approval first, that was the whole point of my original email with, hey, let me know.

DH that hasn't gotten me the news when the deadline was Nov 29th: Can we add a new section to the Annual Report? I was talking the the Infecious Disease Group and they've been doing a lot with the vaccine and Covid so I want to highlight their work. Is that fine?
