[hooptober] Tonight's film was His House, about a Sudanese refugee couple who is relocated to England and finds their past has followed them.

What I really like about it is what I like about any genre film that finds a uniquely specific context.

The horror is intimately wrapped up in their trauma.

That one was really good and the end just killed me

She's fantastic.

I've only seen her in Lovecraft Country and this is so different which is nice.

And yeah, the end is great and the twist is heartbreaking.

And by "she" I mean Wunmi Mosaku I just couldn't remember her name.
