Look at my poor books!

Back cover is completely bent and folded on one. Front cover ripped on another. And the pages all bent and folded on the third - this one when I unpacked the box, three books had slid INSIDE THE BOOK so no wonder the pages are all screwed up

I actually have a fourth where the front cover was starting to bend but the cover doesn’t show signs of a bend yet. So I’m hoping to press it out

And books overall are pretty damn easy to ship safely

Snufkin : they really are. and they're only offering me a refund for them, not to get them reprinted (FROM THEIR OWN PRINT ON DEMAND FACILITY) I can't sell non-existent books at a convention... I refund don't do much for me

ᴋᴀᴢɪᴇ : I'm returning the two I definitely can't sell. My author friend said she'd take the one that had minimal page folding so I don't have to return it...

but also gah I just wanted them replaced...

i can take the damaged ones, if they're refunding you for it? i'm pretty sure i'm going to end up lending some copies people won't return, so that could still be of some use further down the line

or, you know, when i have to flip through stuff while writing book 2 hahaha it's easier on ebook since i can do ctrl+f but hey hahaha
