and boy oh boy let me know how much you ooc want to deal with because legato would be going to him with the brunt of it, but I can figure out a way to steer him so that jamie gets hit with less of it if you want
with jamie it's probably more likely that if he lashed out it would be at things around jamie and not directly at him, like losing his shit humans that happened to be in the vicinity while he freaks out
and it's fine if he doesn't, it would just be real convenient if he did. if there was someone who could shut legato down then I wouldnt have to think so hard about how to have him freak out without murdering a bunch of people
Yeah... Rhys is not helpful with that although he did get a spider centaur type form from that event and in that form he can do pheromone manipulation that works on humans/non-bugs as an opt in, so he might be able to pseudo cast calm. But I don’t know if that would work on Legato at all.
Just remember to keep anything Legato might do to just two NPC people. If you need/want more you do need to go for the mods for that. I would say get an idea of what you would like to do then ask the mods. I know you'd rather avoid it, but I think you might end up limiting the fun you could have by trying to avoid asking the mods
I wish Vash was better though at stopping Legato from freaking out. Because besides yelling at him there isn't much he can REALLY do at this canon point if Legato did decide to go ape shit
XD I recall the description of Legato as the cat that previously wanted to claw her face off that now wants to hang out creepily in the same room... so now it's trying to coral the psycho cat without losing an eye or most of her skin in the process...
also running with the mom theme, I can imagine her just snapping at vash to go sit in the other room since all he does is yell in this scenario pffffffffffff
