Today a cat followed us down the street for half a block. Every time I turned, it ran a few feet towards me and stopped.

Once I stepped away from the dog, it came the rest of the way, accepted pets for about thirty seconds, then sauntered home.

I admire this being for knowing what it wanted, having a plan to get it, then calling it when it was done.

I feel I need to learn this lesson.

This is profound.

This is so pure.
