You'd think she wouldn't try to micromanage how I care for my animals. It is one of the few areas in which I feel competent.

I have had to bar the front door with a special auxiliary lock to keep her from letting Ferris out in the morning. He wakes the entire house when she comes over. I have spent years explaining that he has a final chance to pee and then he can hold it for eight hours because he is a Big Boy.

Jabari still hates her. He has never screamed like he does now whenever he hears her voice. Thank you, buddy, for being in my corner, but your response isn't that helpful.

Tonight she almost refused to leave the house before filling the communal animal water bowl. She texted me when she went back home.

Whenever I confront her on ANYTHING she immediately changes the subject. It's getting ridiculous.

Against popular vote, I've decided to try and mend their relationship. Had ma over to clean to her heart's content and had Jabari out of his cage to watch. Kept him busy with toys to throw and rip apart and praised him for tolerating her presence. Marked improvement after thirty minutes.

As much of a Mood his fits were, I was worrying he was legitimately very upset with her and he was starting to feel stressed out.

After tonight, I can without doubt say that no, he was just tantruming.

(All he really wants to do is be included and the house moving around seemed to alienate him. Ferris gets anxious when I sweep. Jabari gets angry that I won't let him do the dishes.)
