Politics, but important: although the decision won't have an impact for six months, a Canadian judge decided that the way the US treats refugees make it no longer a "safe land" for refugees, so they will be allowed (in six months) to come to Canada through border controls and seek asylum without fearing to be turned back.

As a side note I think First Nation folks can get into Canada and get citizenship with few issues too
