So when we first moved in, Sergio broke the second of a two-paned window

In true Sergio fashion, he hid it from me all day and then drew back the blinds to go "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'll pay for it."

The problem that it is one of two windows that have the cross-breeze to the entire half of the second floor. The second window is screwed shut from the outside and I told him he wasn't allowed on the roof to unscrew it

So we have had no open windows on the second floor and it is shit.

He had broken the window right in the middle and then just. Left it there.

So I was sick of looking at it because this is my office corner.

And I was sick of having hot air blown around by a box fan that does nothing

So I punched out the rest of the glass using utility gloves, got the rest of it with pliers and sand paper, and now guess who has a working window kind of?

Stuck the box fan in, lowered the screen with some muscle from the dude and now I actually am cooling down the second floor

holy shit windows are amazing

Going through this house is fun because half the windows are busted, won't lift and stay lifted, are glued / nailed shut or are missing their screens

So I drew up a list of Windows To Fix and put them in order of priority.

And opened all the rest so we actually have air circulation now

Poor Frankie is huddled somewhere because it was hot and loud and we ran the vacuum
