Not to gloat but I'm so grateful that when I want to rail about the evils of capitalism or talk politics, I call my mom, which I know is the opposite of so many people's experience.

Me: "Mom I don't care about my career at all, all I want to do is try to contribute to my community and spend as much time as possible with you because all this is bullshit."
Her: "This sounds good to me."
