the evidence of the widespread extremist recruiting or organizing in online game environments (such as in Fortnite or other popular titles) remains anecdotal at best, and more research is required before any broad-based claims can be made.
ALSO alkdsjaslkdjalksdj exacerangutan as I've written and published "professional" essays it drives me up a fucking WALL when they LITERALLY state "I'm going to [x]" You are supposed to set up that you will do that, yes, BUT DON'T JUST FUCKING SAY IT LIKE THAT
CC Out loud: You're not in 4th grade anymore!!!! Luffy-bro: They didn't learn beyond that! They didn't even learn that in 4th grade, they learned it in college! And their professors were like "... ugh well at least you're writing now. Now go be a journalist" CC: I am trying to breathe here!! Luffy-bro: Sorry, sorry, I'm just kidding. And other
people are like "why would you encourage them to do that" and the professors are like "Well, I certainly don't want them to be a scientist!!!" CC: /DIES
CC Out Loud again: Let's all propaganda! Luffy-bro: OK CC: D: NO NO NO Luffy-bro: I was just joking. I wanna pull out all my WW2 propaganda. "Stay in your houses, don't go outside"
my friend, "[No Pixels For Fascists] has an interesting motto: "In video games, everyone should feel comfortable and no one excluded. AND PISS OFF IF YOU DISAGREE." o_O"
...tbh it's hard to tell from a screenshot. there are times you provide an outline in the first section of an article to state what else it's going to be covered. which isn't too say the time throughout is great, but it's not completely nuts just a bit goofy
in fact, often, tell at the beginning and then again at the end just to be totally clear what you wanted the reader to get out of it, because it's a format 100% meant to be didactic and above board, unlike fiction
"there are many examples of blah" is more typical than "and now in the next paragraph of this article that you are reading I will describe examples of blah"
Though I can't imagine how you mistranslate something like "Two examples of groups combatting antisemitism in gaming using [psyops] are [x] and [y]." into "In this article I will tell you about two examples of [z]"
//sends you to that first episode of the Granada Sherlock Holmes stories, where he has a line about how only a German would be so discourteous to his verbs//
