I mean look at Aziraphale’s face, too. He’s scraping for what to say that will possibly motivate Crowley to action. There’s the threat of harm, with the flaming sword, but… quite honestly he realizes almost immediately that he knows what will cut deeper than any sword could.
When Crowley realized the world was doomed and the end times were unavoidable and everything was about to come crashing down around their ears, his immediate reaction was to flee. Nowhere on the planet is safe, and he literally made plans to flee to the next nearest star system.
that’s why aziraphale takes the request for holy water so hard. crowley’s promised to be there, and now he wants to be given the tool to leave aziraphale alone forever. they speak about fraternizing - recognition of the bond between them.
to aziraphale, it sounds like a rejection, a regret. to crowley, it’s intended as protection: he’s chosen aziraphale so thoroughly over hell that he’s placed himself in absolute mortal danger.
This has got nothing to do with business, he just wants to go on a date with Crowley. Someday. Right now he can barely believe he even brought it up, there’s no way he can go through with it immediately, but god, he needs Crowley to know that he wants that. He needs Crowley to know he wants there to be a someday.
Every relationship problem they have is pressured by outside sources, and solved by them bonding closer together and saying “fuck you” to everything trying to keep them apart, and that’s beautiful.

克羅里：被天堂傷害太深，所以用公事為藉口來接觸，對他比較安全。
阿茲：公事要和惡魔交涉也太有違天使道德，所以私下社交比較保險。
所以兩人通常都是克羅里談公事， 而阿茲轉為私事。
兩人撞完女巫，克羅里都出了車外，還關了車門，阿茲卻沒邀他喝酒--》克羅里一臉納悶。
最後克羅里麗池飯店邀約：阿茲接受。
克羅里在莎士比亞那幕就開始圍著阿茲繞圈：那時有了協議，克羅里就有個their side的概念。
