So I am just back from seeing Alita. One thing I can say without giving any spoilers: there is going to be a trilogy. If I had seen it the first week, I would have added "if it does well", but as it kept first place for a few weeks, you can bet there is going to be a follow-up, and the original manga has material for three movies
