I saw that yesterday, and it is an important clarification that makes me regret I every jumped on the OMG MISSING KIDS bandwagon, because it sounds like pushing on that had potential to cause more harm than good for these kids and their families, and she very solidly condemns the practice of separating parents and kids

i'm sure it's very satisfying for her when someone who didn't understand it before talking to her understands it, but the rest of these people. especially the ones clearly just looking for a fight. i have no idea how she is doing this. i'm just reading it and i want to hit someone/something in frustration.

Yeah. Twitter is awful for this, tbh. It's so easy to read/skim part and fly off the handle when she has already addresed all of this multiple times
