Earlier this month someone went on a shopping spree on my cell phone account. The company just tried telling me I have to go to the physical store it happened at to fix it. Um the store it happened at is in NYC, I would need to buy a plane ticket.
Apparently the fraud department closed my case without contacting me. All they put down was that I need to go to the store to resolve it. Um...The store is nearly 400 miles away.
Finally. I am glad to at least have someone on my side. I realize that the every day reps can't do much, their hands are tied. But to be told the same thing over and over is so frustrating. I had one even tell me they couldn't remove the items unless I returned them. After I had just finished telling her I did not buy them!
It is crazy that a manager/supervisor files a claim and it gets resolved in less than 12 hours. The other one I still would not have known what had happened unless I called yesterday and it had been nearly 3 weeks.
