Fox Clan are probably one of the more secretive-but I mean, is it news that they are actually run by a kitsune who's the seventh Great-grandmother or grandfather of almost the entire clan? They probably have trouble finding new kitsune to recruit so there's probably a lot of peripheral members who are only like 1/16th fox.
I mean, they are probably still great at disguises and playing a role, but they probably aren't magically able to switch genders or body-types at whim.
Things have probably improved a lot since the end of the Meji period, but yeah, weird dynamics at play even now. And hey, it would be incredibly useful to have a Fox willing to act in some of your films

was joking the other day about a guy who tries to act like a more stereotypical hentai character (IE more creepy) but he's a terrible ninja and everyone just owns him repeatedly
So maybe as his counterpart, there's a girl who keeps on getting into compromising situations and being all like "N-no! Don't look! Not down there!" but then people are just like "Oh, uh, okay."
I only briefly talked about her but she basically takes all of this seriously even when that would be silly. Imagine someone acting serious in a ridiculous bondage getup.
