1) my favorite color is orange 2) I could use a different mug for like a month and never repeat I have so many and 3) first movie I saw in movies was the lion King and I knew every word by heart
1. I have never broken a bone, though I nearly broke my nose once. 2. A teacher told my parents I needed glasses at age 13 because she caught me squinting at the overhead projector. 3. I was a year older than the other kids in my classes because my school felt I needed to be kept back in kindergarten for being emotionally immature.
1. I like to dance around my house to very loud music when I think no one is home and generally flail about, sometimes clean. 2. I keep christmas lights up in my room year round. 3. I can't drive without music playing in the car. I freak out
1. I was also a twin, but I absorbed them in the womb and I'm a chimera. You mostly only see it in my eyes, but my skin and hair are also from two different "people" 2. I went to a private school that was super old school. They did paddling, even! I would have been left-handed if not for them smacking my hand with a ruler when I tried to write with it
1. I broke my foot on Mother's Day when I was a child, leaving my parents and I to miss the nice dinner out with grandparents. 2. I actually have both a cold allergy and occasional migraines (huh). 3. I have drunk diet soda, due to diabetic family members, for so long that regular soda tastes funny to me.
1. i have very questionable feelings about prince sidon from the newest zelda 2. 100% unrelatedly (i promise), sharks are my actual favorite thing 3. i can turn my elbows inside out. and kind of my shoulder but i've never looked at that one in the mirror, just seen the reactions, so idk how bad it actually is
alebrije okay but my first thought re #3 was '... so does that mean Hamilton in your car' and I almost apologize for it. And OOH that sounds gorgeous even if not something I'd wear
I honestly caught the last train before it got really huge and shortly after that people were harassing friends of mine on twitter for not having listened and I was like
1. After I moved to Philly one of my coworkers put a work laptop away from me and I accidentally told my boss it had been stolen. Later another coworker joked "I heard you learned a tough lesson about Philly", but still in my whole life I've only once been the victim of theft and that was a locked-up bike in a semi gated community back in CO.
2. You would not know it to look at me now but I used to really Hate clothes and fashion. In high school I wore the same actual-army-reserve camo pants like 5 days in a row (and got compliments towards the end of the week), and was also sporting a shaved head because I had wanted a clean start after lots of dye and a perm
3. In elementary school I spent 4 years in a bilingual program that should have taught me fluent Spanish but I also got unlucky and my teacher was the one who took it muuuuch less seriously. (The other teacher was doing whole days just in Spanish.) So I can pretty much just introduce myself and ask how you are.
I will say this: I think that very early Spanish pronunciation is why I find Japanese pronunciation mostly really easy. A lot of English speakers have difficulty getting their mouths to only make one a sound, for example, because we've just got so many.
aww. well, I still want to get back to having proficiency in it because of the pure utility of it. but I was a foolish little kid and I wasn't interested in it.
My favorite color is a toss-up between purple and orange... /eyes our display name colors...
