It is a beautiful day, partly cloudy which means partly sunny! No rain. The air is fresh and clear. I was wondering why the world felt fresh and new.

And then I saw the headlines and discovered the architect of FOX News and human gargoyle is dead. No wonder the world feels lighter.

And nope, not going to pretend I feel any grief at all. I suppose there might be a scintilla of sympathy for his children, but he was an evil man who made the world more hateful and we are better off without him in the world

I see so many on twitter trying to somehow make him a great guy! "He was so smart, he created an empire! Amazing!" then..."he made the women who worked for him give him blowjobs..." Oh. yeah.

I think there are a handful that ended up being architects of the current political landscape, rejection of facts and truths. While I never am elated when someone dies, I am not mourning his passing either.

A couple of FOX producers were assigned a story with a specific spin, but when they did the reporting, they discovered that the story they were told to tell was not true. They refused to produce a false story and were fired. They filed a wrongful termination suit saying that firing them for refusing to lie is not okay.

Particularly for a news station. They won. So Roger Ailes appealed and appealed again all the way to the Supreme Court where he won the right for the news to be pure lies. He is the fount of the blatant fabrication and fakery that some media have become, fighting hard for the right to lie.
