That whole concept creeps me out. It reminds me too much of JonBenet Ramsey and Toddlers and Tiaras (and Gone with the Wind.) I'm an introverted Yankee at heart.

I was trying to explain the concept of the Trail Maids to J (before this picture/event) and she was like 'yeah, yeah, dresses like Gone With the Wind, I get it'.

When the picture was all over the news, I showed it to her. 'Oh. Oh... my. That so much worse than I was picturing. That's really bad. They wear it on purpose?'
