But seriously, if the choice was smart vs. average, I'd choose smart without thinking. If the choice was smart vs. beautiful, I'd choose smart even faster. Why do women have to be beautiful to feel confident?

(Or feel beautiful to be confident, either way.)

I am not particularly pretty, I totally assume it, and try hard to get rid of "how do others perceive me" thinking, beauty-wise. (How they perceive me for my words and actions, I still care.)
