Damn, I hate the 4th of July and the everlasting fireworks that continue a week later.

The fratboys behind our condo unit start the week before and go at least a week after here as well. The nice illegal bottle rocket kind that make me want to sit on my roof with a hose.

Are fireworks illegal at any other time over there?

in my state they are illegal all the time only licensed professionals are allowed to set them off. the state bordering ours its legal and we are a quick drive away

They are illegal here too and start a week before and go for a few days after. I am always so worried one of the houses is going to catch on fire and spread to the rest because the houses are so close together

They're illegal in my state but people tend to have fireworks anyway. Particularly the families of the cops.

They only law we have, is you have to be over 18

I only heard them the night before, the fourth, and maybe one the night after

you have to drive down to Fort Pedro over the border to get good ones, though, so you hear those poppers and whistling fountain things and that's about it

Try having a week long overbloated commercialized festival for the harvest moved ahead two weeks before harvest is actually ready just to coincide with that same holiday.
