[Yellowjackets] season 4 will be the end and can I just say I'm literally happy about this development for the insane main reason of "because the story would tell us when it wants to end". Like a TLV graduation, baby
I seriously think that season 3 was the best season of the show. I am genuinely happy with this news. I think that what made season 2 so bad was the mindset that the ONLY thing that could happen timespan wise was the teen hunt at the end, the adults at the compound at the end
Yes, they did originally say a lot about a plan for five seasons. So I'm literally glad they did something different from that plan so they can prove that the show will end when it tells us to end" earlier source I'm not sure this one says 5
I do think that a finale S4 would be slightly more likely to involve Walter. Or rather, I think that if he were involved, it would serve a more clear and specific purpose to the story and not meandering, the way I think his involvement in 4 + 5 would be.
I don't think any of the seasons were bad tbh; I'm least attached to season 3 because I've only seen it once and most attached to 1 because it was so intense.
I haven’t gotten to see it (adjsfl I know although...a definitive number of seasons DOES make that easier) BUT I will say -- I always respect the hell out of a writing/directing team that knows when something is done
earlier source I'm not sure this one says 5
