Meh. I wouldn't believe that. Repressed anger leads to resentment more than sadness, in my experience. I'll be brutally honest: sound like a drunk person rambling. Find your own truth.

Anger is also considered a secondary emotion...there's always something else behind it. You may have to get through the anger before you get to what's causing your depression. Depression also isn't necessarily sadness. I would probably categorize it more as hopelessness, but even that is oversimplifying things.

So when it doesn't go away on it's own, better go see a specialist who will (or should) find the actual cause, and provide medication to help restore the balance, if need be.
