Accidentally stepped into one of the weirdest internet debates about... horses in video games. Someone was adamant that Horse Pb was not canon, she was optional. Other people be like "she was given to you as part of main story line, she is the canonical horse of the protag". Then he went on and on about how it wasn't true. I was like

They were debating what constitutes "canon" and "optional". The person insisted that the horse he chose was the canon. Other people said "that's YOUR storyline, not the canonical one, Horse Pb is canonically his, by the rites of the world of the game" And the person just said "nope"

Kept saying that he wasn't misundestanding anything
