I do take the Atlus surveys seriously since they've shown that they have been learning

i had many words for Atlus and their way of handling the Persona series (and most of their games but Persona is most guilty of it)

When Metaphor came out, I was like "Oh man maybe Atlus is getting adventurous with original games again"

Hashino has also left as the director of the Persona series and because the Persona 3-5 era has been very successful for Atlus under his direction, they're probably twittling their thumbs right now on how to proceed into the next era

I also remember the long wait for P5 and the constant delays since it got announced pretty early after OG P4

But it's funny that history is repeating itself where we had endless P4 games while waiting for P5 and now we're waiting for P6 and it's endless P5 games (and now circling back to P4 again)

I think the problem with a persona 1/2 remake, besides the fact those games don't really match with modern Persona at all, is... there are writing choices that I don't think would fly in the present day? like I can't see them keeping Hitler. they'd have to redo so much.

P2... well, the PSP version did give him shades and just refer to him as "the Fuhrer"

Yeah, I don't think P1 and P2 will get a lot of dramatic writing adjustments. P5 arguably has the most disturbing content in any Persona game and it is the most popular one by far

Plus P3R was rated M now when OG P3 was rated T back in the day, so most people should know that Persona as a series isn't kid friendly by now (but hey... that won't stop them from playing!)

Etrian Odyssey is a bit of an odd beast to handle since it was so tailor made for the DS/3DS

not impossible (since obviously they made that collection) but i think a new entry would want to handle things differently than "put both screens on the same screen"
