Fucking fireworks until 2 am. We stayed up to midnight because we knew it would probably be loud till then. Inconsiderate idiots kept it up another 2 hours.
We had a pretty noisy night, too. My son took our dog last night so he could sleep with him instead of in my room where he's not allowed on the bed. This and New Year's are so rough.

: I always call hit hell week when we get to the 4th of July. They started here last weekend. Thursday night they went to 12:30 am, last night they went to 2:00 am. Then my team called me at 5:25 for a stupid question, so I have now 2 nights of little to no sleep. I am dragging today and I am glad it is Shabbat and I am not supposed to do much
I want to track them down, and then on a quiet night when they are in a deep sleep, set off a recording of war with speakers pointed right at their homes and wake them up from a dead sleep and keep it up for hours.
Good morning. How awful, i dont get why its do hard for them to stop at a certain time. You are right, they are inconsiderate. I hope your able to take a nap at some point today, and feel refreshed.
I've been hearing them all week until 2 or 3 am randomly. I don't complain about the 4th that much as long as they're over at a decent hour (depending on whether the 4th is a weekday or not) but a week of 2 or 3 am is fucking ridiculous.

: I understand that feeling. Moving in-town this year has been quieter than in the middle of nowhere. We had fireworks for weeks before and after the holidays. It's so hard to function without sleep, let alone maintain any sense of emotional regulation.
We were lucky here in SW PDX, we had some around 8pm-ish, around twilight, then a flurry of fireworks around 10pm-ish, then everything quieted down. I'm so sorry you were kept up so late!
for most of the night it was decent here in Irvington but when the official fireworks ended that's when the prohibited fireworks began and they were closer and louder and then somewhere between midnight and 1:00 a.m. there was someone that was maybe a block away. not the a****** across the street but about a block away. I wanted to kill them.
Nora did not hide from the fireworks. she sat in the window and watched avidly like she was a guard cat. of course she's a guard cat that is scared to go outside the door and will only put her two front feet on the patio. but fierce looking
