剛剛看到這則新聞,舊金山某家公司Wildtype成功用鮭魚幹細胞在實驗室培養出沒有鮭魚的鮭魚肉,然後得到美國食安署審核通過。

結果食藥署說的很保守:「我們理解Wildtype已得出結論,由 CCC 000005 定義的生產過程產生的培養細胞材料組成或含有該材料的食品,與透過其他方法生產的同類食品一樣安全。」
所以基本上食安署的意思是這家公司送了一堆測試報告宣稱這個鮭魚肉跟普通鮭魚肉一樣安全,然後他們對這些文件沒有疑問。
但是!我有疑問(舉手)Wildtype有測蛋白質錯誤折疊嗎?(狂牛症致病蛋白質)
