She was a lovely, creative person who I met at a crafter's fair at the bookstore in town. I don't need any yarn, but I bought one of her 'chaos cakes' made from scraps of similar weight & color yarns and it came with a free copy of this pattern.

Once I finish the hats that have been sitting in my crochet bag, I will give this pattern a try.
